  • What should I wear during a session?
You’ll wear minimal, dry clothing—typically shorts and a sports bra (or underwear) for women, and shorts for men. We provide gloves, socks, slippers, and ear protection to protect extremities. All metal jewellery should be removed before entering the chamber.
  • How long does a session take?
The cryotherapy exposure itself is 2–4 minutes. Including prep time, your full visit takes about 10–15 minutes.
  • Does it hurt? Is it difficult?
No, but it is very cold! You’ll feel an intense chill, but it’s typically tolerable—and many people report feeling refreshed and energised afterwards whilst finding it less challenging than jumping into an ice bath.
  • Is cryotherapy safe?
Yes, when performed under professional supervision, cryotherapy is safe for most people. Sessions are short, and clients are monitored at all times. However, it’s not recommended for individuals with certain medical conditions (e.g., severe hypertension, heart conditions, Raynaud’s syndrome). Always consult your doctor if unsure.
  • How often should I do cryotherapy?
This depends on your goals. For general wellness, 1–2 sessions per week may be enough. For athletic recovery or chronic pain, 2–5 sessions per week may be more effective. We can tailor a plan to suit your needs.
  • Can I do cryotherapy after my workout?
Yes! Professional athletes have been using cryotherapy post-exercise for years to support faster recovery and reduce inflammation. Just make sure you’re dry before entering the chamber.
  • What should I do after a session?
You can resume normal activities right away. Many people feel energised or notice reduced soreness. Hydration and light movement can support the benefits.
